travel experts inspect nuclear plant

TOKYO .- Japan is ready to receive experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to carry out an inspection of the Fukushima nuclear plant gravely troubled by the earthquake and tsunami of 11 March.

"We try to ensure transparency and accept the arrival of IAEA inspectors falls within the framework , said Tuesday the Japanese government spokesman Yukio Edan, in a press conference .

An international team two dozen specialists from the IAEA will be in Japan from May 24 to June 2 to discuss the accident at the central Fukushima Daiichi (No. 1), the spokesman said.
